The following conditions must be met in order to use voice and text chat (free text).
・Players must be aged 16 years old or above
・Players must be logged in with a linked Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer account and be Trainer Level 6 or higher.
*Please check for issues exclusively with voice chat.
*If you are having issues using chat with a friend, be aware that you must have played together at least five times after becoming friends in order to chat with them.
*Age restrictions may vary depending on region of residence.
If you have tried the above and are still unable to use the chat feature, you may have received a penalty due to being reported. Please check for more information regarding penalties.
